The Tutor Connection

The mission of The Tutor Connection is to connect quality tutors with students, and to be Tampa’s connection to all things related to tutoring. What this means is that we will work to supply both our tutors and our students with the latest information, opportunities, and help in the tutoring field. For our tutors, this means that we are here to serve you in any way that we can so that your tutoring practice is the best it can be.

For our students, this means that we want them to have the best tutors at a reasonable price. If you like this idea, and enjoy helping others, we would like you to join with us in making this possible.

All tutors listed with The Tutor Connection are independent contractors. The Tutor Connection and the tutors exchange services with one another and divide student payment in a mutually agreed upon contract. The tutor provides quality tutoring, TTC provides the online environment, marketing and advertising representation, administration of all records, and payment collection. Training is also provided for those who do not already have tutoring certification. All tutors wishing to be represented by The Tutor Connection are interviewed in person, and TTC only accepts those who can prove their qualifications through transcripts and/or the passing of a skills test. All tutors must also prove that they have met national standards for the tutoring profession by either providing a certificate from a recognized organization or going through the TTC training course.
